Impeller are delighted to have pledged their support to a social value initiative in the North East.
The Gazette & The Journal in association with Esh Group recently hosted a breakfast event at Wynyard Hall to bring together leading businesses to discuss the potential of social value and how local businesses can be involved.
Some of changes in social value can be captured in monetary terms as companies perform better but other examples might be the value we experience from increasing our confidence or from living in an area that is proudly cared for with motivated businesses and local authorities.
Speakers at the event included Andy Preston (Mayor of Middlesbrough), Louise Hunter MBE (Northumbrian Water), Steve Beharall (Newcastle United Foundation) and Darush Dodds (Esh Group).
Nicola Halse, Marketing Manager at Impeller said: “We are very proud to be one of 26 businesses across the North East who have signed the pledge to work together for the benefit of our local communities. As a business we strongly believe in social value and the benefits it can bring, education and training we believe is a vital part in this and our team work hard to assist our local community as much as we can. We look forward to working further with the businesses involved and to see what great improvements can be made.”
