Course Aim

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) requalifying course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their first aid at work qualification when their certificate is due to expire. 

Course Assessment & Certification

6 x Practical assessments, 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers) and continuous formative assessment conducted throughout the course. Upon successful completion delegates will receive certification.

Course Duration

2 Days – Buffet Lunch and Refreshments are provided for delegates.

Course Content

During this 2 day course, learners will have the opportunity to practice their essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques for dealing with emergency situations and managing injuries and illnesses in the workplace.

What’s more, as a regulated qualification employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training.

All re-qualifying first aiders must have previously completed a First Aid at Work course and provide a copy of their certificate.

Topics covered include: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR AED and defibrillator use, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries, recovery position.
