HRTCI Course Awarded SFJ Accreditation

Great news for Impeller and the UK Fire Sector with confirmation from Skills for Justice (SFJ) that our Heavy Road Traffic Collision Instructor (HRTCI) Course has met the rigorous standards required to achieve full accreditation. This course has always been very well received by delegates and has aimed to be at the cutting edge of this specialised discipline.

Impeller are the only provider to offer this training with SFJ accreditation and we are confident that the award will create further demand for the 5-day course. Our September course is fully subscribed but we do have places available on the November course which runs from the 11th to the 15th and there will be courses in January and March 2018.

In the 2 years since startup, Impeller have trained over 90 delegates from 32 different Fire and Rescue Services in the HRTCI course. Our lead instructors, Alan Patterson and Ed Cooper are recognised as being industry leading as Alan is a lead assessor for UKRO and together they have over 25 years experience in running this course.

Will Fatherley, CEO of Impeller commented: ‘This great achievement is testament to the dedication and hard work of our team at Impeller and the on-going partnership that we have with the Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service. We look forward to welcoming many more delegates to be trained in this important discipline of Fire and Rescue.’
